Lake Winnipesaukee spans approximately 28 miles long and 15 miles wide consisting of over 46,000 acres of water, with a maximum depth of approximately 200 ft in it's deepest locations off of Rattlesnake Island. It is home to 274 islands and 282 miles of shoreline.
With surounding communities of Alton, Wolfeboro, Gilford, Belmont, and Center Harbor to name a few, you will be lost in nature at it's best. Surrounding areas offer boating, canoeing, camping, diving, fishing, sailing, golfing, hiking, along with rock climbing.
With several easily accesible boat launches on Winnipesaukee, you can enjoy the day cruising up and down the shoreline, or visit some of the towns along the way for shopping, or to grab a bite to eat. You can even spend the day anchored in a cozy cove enjoying the sun and fun.
